The Payyoli Service Co-operative Bank Ltd
Payyoli Service Co Operative Bank is one of the PCC societies started in Malabar region under the leadership of Sri. Kelappaji for strengthening the public distribution system, before independence. Payyoli Scb registered on 23-Sep-1946 and started functioning on 26-Sep 1946 is later converted as Rural Bank in 1956 and finally it became a Service Co-Operative Bank in 1965.
The area of operation of the bank is extended to Payyoli Municipality, Thikkodi Grama Panchayath And Thurayur Grama Panchayath. We, the first fully computerized co- operative bank in Kozhikode district was inaugurated by Sri. S. Sarma, the Honorable Minister Of Co-Operation on 31 st -dec-1998. The new bank building and its shopping complex was inaugurated by Sri .M V Raghavan, the Honorable Minister Of Co-Operation on 19th –April-2002. The Joint Registrar of co-operative societies, Kozhikode upgrade our classification as Class I Super Grade bank from 1st -April-2017 .

A nominal annual rent is charged. The rent is payable in advance for the financial year. The locker
